This policy explains how the AlyawmGold browser extension handles information while providing public gold and silver prices.

1. Extension purpose
The extension's single purpose is to display current public gold and silver prices for supported GCC markets. Users can select a market, preferred gold karat, toolbar-badge price, display currency, and interface language.
2. Information handled by the extension

The extension does not request or collect a user's name, email address, phone number, payment details, authentication credentials, health information, browsing history, communications, keystrokes, or content from visited websites.
3. Network requests and standard server logs
The extension sends the selected market code to AlyawmGold to retrieve the corresponding public quote. It may also open an AlyawmGold market-details page when the user selects that link. The extension does not contact advertising, analytics, or tracking services.
As with ordinary HTTPS requests, AlyawmGold's hosting and security systems may generate standard server logs containing connection information such as an IP address, user agent, request time, and requested URL. The extension does not attach an AlyawmGold account, advertising identifier, or extension-generated persistent identifier to these requests.
4. Why the extension requests permissions
- Storage: saves display preferences and a recent public price response locally.
- Alarms: schedules price refreshes and expires a toolbar price when it is no longer fresh. It does not create notifications.
- Host access to alyawmgold.com: retrieves public price data and opens selected AlyawmGold pages. It does not read or modify unrelated websites.
5. Use, disclosure, and sale of information
Information handled by the extension is used only to provide its price-display features. AlyawmGold does not sell extension user data, use it for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose, transfer it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
6. Retention and user controls
Preferences and cached public price data remain in local extension storage until they are replaced, cleared by the browser, or the extension is uninstalled. Users can change their market, karat, badge, currency, and language selections from the extension interface. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage under the browser's normal extension-removal behavior.
7. Security and remote code
Price requests use HTTPS. All executable JavaScript, HTML, CSS, fonts, and images are packaged with the extension. Public JSON price data is treated as data and is not executed as code.

This policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
